BIO
My name is Peter Dolan, and I started Circle of 3rds, a music publishing company, in 2015. I’m a songwriter/producer, finally intent on releasing songs I’ve been writing for the last couple of decades and new ones to come. Lately, I’ve been working with collaborators again, and am looking forward to sharing new music on a bi-monthly basis starting November 1, 2024 with our latest single, “Need You to Know.”
All our music is published through our own publishing entity, Circle of 3rds, LLC, and can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and many other streaming platforms. We’re members of BMI, Songtrust, and own all of the masters, royalties, and copyrights to our work.

MUSIC
Our first EP, “Terrarium,” was released in September 2023. It contained our first two singles, “Turn Towards” and “Where We Go,” along with three other tracks written within the last few years. It serves as a songwriting demo as well as a debut creative endeavor.
Our first published co-write was published in January 2025. Co-written by and featuring Chelsea Nettleton, “Still Your Only One” is a new song about love, longing, validation, and affirmation.
Our first official lyric video was for a song written twenty years ago and updated to modern times. “Need You to Know,” released in November 2024, is about the singular perspectives of the current news media landscape.
