PREVIOUS SHOWS

Over the last decade prior to the pandemic, there have been varying appearances at open mics, rotating between classic/alternative rock covers and some classical guitar performances.   Some of the rock open mics were tributes to recently passed heroes, like Tom Petty and Chris Cornell.  Others are fun mash-ups and medleys of other influences’ work.

The classical guitar open mics stemmed from a goal of “challenging ourselves” as we age.  Peter Dolan was a student of classical guitar in college and has an appreciation and love for it. When he revisited it in his thirties, he expanded his repertoire to include guitar versions of composers like Beethoven and Bach. Performing these live were a way for Peter to escape his comfort zone.

The most recent open mic was the first live performance of Circle of 3rds’ first single, “Turn Towards.”
